Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) syringe filter options
GE’s Puradisc PTFE syringe filter is a hydrophobic membrane that is chemically stable and inert. It exhibits low protein binding, and its main application is filtration of non-aqueous samples. Prior to filtering of aqueous samples, the membrane must be pre-wetted with a water-miscible organic solvent.
