Designed to withstand the day to day rigors of the papermill the fully-automated Brightimeter S4-M sets the standard for brightness and fluorescence measurement instruments in the industry. Rigorous adherence to TAPPI Official Test Method T452 yields accurate measurements, both with and without the excitation of fluorescing agents. The S4-M also meets TAPPI Offical Test Method T646 for the measurement of clay brightness.

Fast, Simple Operation – digital readouts appear instantaneously.
Automatic Push-Button Calibration – brightness and fluorescence calibration values are stored in non-volatile memory.
Fully-Automatic Fluorescence Measurement – re-calibration is not necessary.

The Brightimeter -M is an improved version of the previous Model S-4 which gained industry acceptance though many years of successful use in the hostile environments of pulp, paper and clay mills. Strict adherence to TAPPI official Test Method T452 (pulp and Brightness) has made the Brightimeter the U.S paper industry's number one brightness tester. The Model S4-M Provides instantaneous digital readout and mant other standard features, plus the option of measuring brightness both with the without the excitation of fluorescing agents.
